Many times I hear women excuse their excess weight by saying, “I had a kid.” I understand the challenge of losing weight after having a child, but I also know mothers can and should commit to losing the extra weight. Women can lose the baby weight by eating correctly, exercising consistently and committing to their health.
What a person should eat to be healthy is always a subject of great debate. There are numerous diet books, diet doctors, and eating plans that just leave people in a greater confused state. There will never be a “one size fits all” eating plan; there are as many ways to eat as there are people. I can suggest some tips to get you started:
- Eat real food. Eat food that is found in nature and is not man-made.
- Eat animal protein. Stop with the processed shakes, bars and other substitutions for real food.
- Stop consuming cereal, cereal is one of the most processed foods out there.
- Make up your eating plan based on animal protein, veggies and some berries, think low-carb.
- Control your insulin by eating lower carbohydrate foods. If you keep your insulin from spiking, you keep your body from storing fat.
- Drink plain, quality water.
These suggestions listed above will help you get closer to your goal of improved health. Start with a few suggestions and keep working on it. The next step to improving your health is get moving!
Exercise is the best way to shed those unwanted pounds and help you feel great! Women need to start weight-training and focus on building muscle to acquire a toned and sexy body. When you feel sexy, your whole attitude changes towards life and your family.
- Weight-train every other day. Workout your whole body in one session or split your upper body and lower body into two days.
- Cardio is essential for your cardiovascular system. Try walking and then work up to jogging or swimming.
- Try something fun, like dancing, hiking, rollerblading, biking or any other activity you enjoy.
The final step to obtaining better health is making the commitment to change. You are the only one standing in your way to success, so know you can achieve whatever you put your mind and effort towards.
- Believe you will succeed. Your thoughts influence your outcome, so think positive!
- Visualize your successful outcome, your healthy, new size.
- Take one day at a time and focus on the journey.
Following all 3 steps suggested, you will be on your way to a healthy new you. I know from experience that a mother can be sexy and fit, so believe me and go for it. You can live your best life!

now my wight is 80 kg after delivery i’m looking to 60 that is mean i have to loose 20 kg!!!

Thanks for commenting. I would suggest eating enough food so your body does not go into starvation mode resulting in you craving sweets.
